Orange-haired model type, frequently latex clad. Almost as frequently not clad at all. Also draws pictures. Wheee!

My sister pointed out that I should do a once per week posting or sharing of oldies-but-goodies that I feel like everyone must have seen but she says people only recently familiar with my face won’t have. So here I am bowing to her superior common sense.
I still adore this image. Not least for the memory of my impulse idea that it would look awesome with the paint dripping out of my mouth, followed quickly by the realisation that paint in mouth burns XDPhotography by Julian Knight PhotographyHair and makeup by Bea SweetCorset by Puimond progressive corset design

Fierce Kitteh! More new awesome shots by RVDS for Lady Lucie Latex

I’m trying to get back into doing ‘proper’ blog posts.. I used to keep an in-depth blog about everything that I was up to but Facebook, Twitter et al have made me a bit lazy; it’s so much easier just to instantly upload pics while I’m travelling, with the promise to myself that I’ll do the accompanying blog later the same day! But this year has been particularly busy for me (in a good way!) and the blog posts got a bit left behind. I suspect I’m never going to catch up on the backlog of what I’ve already done the past few months but I’m going to make a better effort from now on for new and current things! :)

So, I just got back from 3 weeks of shooting pretty much every day in New York and Florida (which does actually merit a blog entry of it’s own, it was pretty eventful! I’ll get on that soon!). I wasn’t even back in LA for one day before I was whisked off for the weekend to celebrate my birthday, with only a couple of days to recover from that before it was back to work!

Today saw me shooting 8 or 9 outfits for Westward Bound’s new collection with Allan Amato. LA is in a heatwave right now so latex is not exactly the easiest of things to be wearing, especially in our studio, where even the new A/C unit was struggling to keep the room at a bearable temperature. I pretty much had to give up on wiping away the sweat that kept dripping down my legs ><. Luckily/miraculously for me, I never seem to get much sweat/shine on my face even when the rest of my body is dripping, so I managed to not look half as uncomfortable as I felt in the photos!

The collection is being released around September (I think), but for now here are a couple of behind-the-scenes snapshots - another thing that I’m trying to remember to do more of! :)
